Bought before machine was about to be scrapped. Very smooth running bronze sleeve bearings. Its 16" swing, 6' bed, about 36" btw centers. Nice carriage, came with a lot of tooling, and some other things. Very heavy castings for the bed, nice graceful legs. Its not seen too much obvious use. Its a Jarno #7 taper head and tailstock. The tailstock can shift off center for tapered turnings. Had to get new belt & clean out the oil reservoir under the headstock bronze bearings. Each one was filled with a graphite colored mud that required an hour or more to clean out properly & replace with fresh oil. The wicks were intact & easily cleaned up. A welcome addition to the lathe collection.
