Purchased from local sawyer who bought it disassembled from a widder lady and never got round to assembly. Enter me. This is the only known example of the Chicago Machinery Exchange 36" band saw. neener, neener. The guides are a mystery. Made by the Automatic Saw Guide Company, showing a cast "Patent 1914" no patents have yet been found. CME did patent another guide in the same year but a vastly different style. The pictures are of work in progress. everything but the pulley weight (25lbs.)is with the saw or on its way. The tables are not yet on the saw but I have both. Bottom Babbitt bearing will need work, motor not with saw, new tires needed, de-rust, wire wheel, prime and paint. Add motor on to be built motor mount and good to go. All this for $275.00 delivered.
