This was my grandfather's saw. His trade was carpenter. He built three houses using this saw before parking it. He bought it in the late 40's. It has been sitting in a garage near a lake for 30+ years. It has the original motor, fence, miter gauge, and blade insert. It never had extensions, he considered those a luxury. The stand is not original.
The unique thing about this saw is that it was the first of the Sears/Craftsman Emerson saws indicated by the 113. model number. In these years both Emerson and King-Seely made saws for Craftsman. I have found that in some of the old catalogs.
It is my next project, wish me luck!
