I DO NOT OWN THIS MACHINE.
This was spotted on a local craigslist and permission was granted to post pics and info from the ad. His email response to me asking for permission:
"Most definitely share it please, I purchased it at an estate auction from a gentleman that was 90+ years old when he passed away. You can share the ad too if you like. I also have what I believe to be a salesman sample of a some sort of motorized hack saw. And a highly modified old lathe with a car transmission mounted in the drive system of it pre 1940s... Family said his motto was if he couldn't make it or repair it he didn't need it. Those won't be for sale but might make for some conversation on your site."
The original craigslist ad:
"Antique cast iron band saw in ok working order (could use a little work on blade guide bearing). Draver Mfg Co. Richmond Ind. 12 inch band saw manufactured some time between 1925 & 1929. Bearing grease cups and drive pulley are similar to what's found on old hit and miss motors. Blade is pretty dull but with a new one this thing will cut wood like a champ. Currently running off an older G.E. 1/3hp motor."
