This is my 1955 model 43-205 Heavy Duty Shaper after repair and repaint. It is form a school shop and was a little rusty when I purchased it. I sandblasted and striped all the metal parts, primed and repainted. Replace the rubber motor mount bushings and swaped the 3 phase 1HP with a new Baldor 3HP reversable. Sadly I had to purchase a new spindle from Delta and it was made in Taiwan. The shaper sits on a hidden mobile base I fabricated to fit inside the cast base. It is a smooth running machine. Well worth the effort.
