So my cell phone rings and the voice on the other end says "Hey, they have a tablesaw out here that you need to have". A buddy is at the annual Beiler Auction-palooza in New Holland, PA and ends up winning this tablesaw for me. While it might have ended a wee bit higher than we predicted, it did include a nearly new Baldor 5-hp motor (gold) and a real nice Freud 14" LU84 carbide combo blade.

The catalog lists the saw at a whopping 950 lbs w/o motor and I believe the table is about half of that weight. Stamped in the corner of the table are the saw's model number and also H. B. Smith's idea of a serial number.... #455. Interestingly, they also painted the serial number in some fancy 3"-tall letters on the base of the saw.

I do have a small casting to repair, a locking lever to fabricate or forge, and missing mitre gauges to contend with. I'll update the pictures as progress is made.
