Comments:
I bought this lathe at a house sale in 1988 for $250. The bed was a bit rusty, but the machine was in good condition overall. Several Delta Lathe tools as well as a 24" rest, and several cup centers and drive spurs were included in the price. The Lathe is powered by a 1 hp Wagner Electric Company motor in which I installed new bronze bearings. The wrench for the tailstock is missing and I have not had any luck in locating one. I am also looking for a cast iron leg set to replace the homemade welded steel one.
Keith helped me date it, and I thank him for that.
