This is a band saw that I had the opportunity to pick up and transport to vegas. I had the chance to snag it but didn't as I had blown all my pennies on an oliver 125 which I now regret. But that is how the pickle squirts. This machine is one of the finest examples of the venerable snow flake I have ever seen. It was completely torn down down and every single part restored. Note that it has the original motor and note the copper grease tubes supplying grease to the front bearing. Also note that this machine has the optional tilt system. The majority of Y-20 saws do not have this feature. Another nice point is the electrical roller contact switch on the back of the saw which turns power off when the brake is applied. If anyone needs a tilt hardware kit for a Y-20, ping me offline. I am restoring another Y-20 snowflake and will be adding tilt to mine. This involves pattern work, foundary work and machine work. Enjoy.
