This is the first EC 123 that I bought in 2002. I completely restored this machine but I had to replace the motor with a new one. These machines are fairly rare. They are invaluable if you are doing fretwork of any kind. With the two different set-ups and various user-made platen choices, you can edge-sand into some very hard to get to places such as sharp points and tight curves. An interesting note on these machines is that there is no tracking adjustment device on any of the pulleys however when the pulleys are crowned properly, it always tracks perfectly. The way that the pulleys are arranged allows for a whopping 178" belt, cutting down on heat and belt wear.
