I bought this jointer on ebay. It will be replacing an 8" Oliver. I posted a pic of a 20" Oliver jointer that was supposed to replace the 8", but when it was time for the dealer to deliver the machine, he changed his mind and did not want to sell. As it works out, it was for the best, becuase I lost my job shortly afterward, and this jointer is almost as big and less than 1/3 of the price the 20" Oliver was.

I am very happy with this jointer. It came with the typical Crescent 4 knife head, and is a very well built machine. It will pair nicely with the 18" Oliver planer in my shop. The machine also came with the original blade guard in great condition, and is all original, every bolt and knob is the one it came from the factory with. Call me anal, but I want my tools in good condition, with all the parts that are supposed to be there.

It is interesting that the company I bought the jointer form was located in Salem, Ohio. Salem is less than 10 miles from Leetonia.
