This machine is in a pottery studio in Dallas, and the owner is looking to sell it. He got the machine with the studio, which used to be part of a museum. It is unusual in that it doesn't match H&B catalogs from 1892, 1900, 1904, or 1912, but it is a dead-ring for a saw in a Yerkes & Finan ad from 1899 and for a 36" Y&F owned by Mike Burian. The counterweight and rectangular hole for the lower bearings are the give-away here. H&B kept the hole but dropped the counterweight by 1912. Note also the painted-on name. H&B went to cast names by 1912.
The saw has Babbitt bearings, both tables are intact, and it has a flat belt pulley. No guards. There are guides, but I don't know what type or what condition they're in. It's been stored inside so there is little rust.
