This is a Walker-Turner Co. 16" wood / metal band saw with a disk sander attachment. Here is my grandfathers small band saw compared to the 26" Lamson. He most likely purchased it used, but possibly new when he built the pattern shop between 1950-51. It still works perfectly and has the its original finish. I am not sure if he fabricated the disk sander attachment or if it was an option with this saw. I remember him using the sander when the shop was busy back in the early 1970's.

Based on the type of manufacturer's badge this saw has on the upper wheel cover, this saw would date to the first year of production or soon thereafter. admin:dg
