I found this at an antique store in the area while hunting for backsaws. Needs to be cleaned up some but should work well. The shaft is 5/8" and it has a double pulley under the rear cover that has a belt hanging below. It's very solid and quite heavy. I think it will take an 8" wheel because it's about 6.5" from the bottom to the middle of the axle. I don't know anything about it and haven't been able to find anything like it or any references to it. I looked through some catalogs here also but didn't find anything about it.
