Exact date of manufacture unknown. The woodwork (table and rims) were restored by it's owner Walter Clement and his friend Bob Johnson. Subsequent restoration (including paint and pinstriping) was done by the Smithsonian Institute when it was exhibited in the "1876: A Centennial Exhibition" from 1976-1992. It was then returned to Mr. Clement's collection. It is in good operating condition.
