I selected this shaper from the many at Nebraska Tool (www.nebraskatool.com) 1 1/2HP 1 phase with two quill/spindle assemblies and a seemingly useless guard. It's obviously from a later machine but mounts in the bolt holes correctly. I'd like to learn how to use the guard AND use the machine - that's another story. It's a good performer, solid and strong.
