I acquired this 14" Walker Turner band saw about two years ago [2002] and pulled it out of the rat hole about a month ago and decided it was time to restore it. All the major parts, including the upper and lower doors, are cast iron so this is a very heavy machine. All the parts were sand blasted before painting. The saw has its original fence. I built a replica of the original cast iron base out of MDF. I scaled the base from a photograph. The entire assembly sit on n HTC mobile stand.
