Belonged to a friends Grandfather. Per Delta Customer Service technicians, the last time these were manufactured was on October 1st, 1938. Stand was home made as there was no stand with it.
I understand that the original serial numbers were painted on rather than stamped. Not sure if this is true but would explain why it can't be found after all these years.
