Comments:
This was found during an estate auction and there was no information about it's origin or history. Heavy, nearly all wood construction. It appears that the action was driven by cams on the ends of the upper and lower pulley wheels with a return spring above the blade to bring it back up to the top of the stroke. My guess is that it is treadle driven but the treadle peddle and the connecting rods are missing so the exact action is still in question. The only identifying markings are "H. Dickerman Beloit, WI" Even Google is ignorant on this one!
