I bought this machine along with a 6" jointer with a CI base made the same year, 1959. Both machines had been purchased by PO a few years ago from PG&E, a large utility in California. Beyond that, I really don't know much about them. Both machines were in great shape when I got them.
This machine is the first one I have ever restored. I completely disassembled it, cleaned and painted parts, then put it back together. Turned out to be easier than I thought it would be thanks to other folks posting information I was able to draw from.
I am excited to own this machine!
