I bought this new in the mid-to-late 1970s. Used it a few years, then "lost" it until recently. When I got it back it was rusty, the start relay was bad, and it was missing one eye shield and one wheel guard. The wiring, bearings and motor were still good. I disassembled, cleaned, painted, replaced the relay (a bear to find one that works)and made new eye shields. It runs smooth and looks much better.
