Saw was bought for $50.00 from a gentleman in Pennsylvania. He had recently become involved in woodworking and was acquiring various machines, fortunately for me he determined that this unit required too much work and he had too little time to devote to its restoration. Saw was totally taken apart, cleaned, repainted and a new base was built as it had none previously. I replaced the tires and installed a plexiglass guard at the height adjustment and that is about it, the rest is totally original. The saw also has its original 1/4 horse motor. As far as 12" saws go this is one fine cutting machine, it tracks straight, has enough power to do what I ask of it, not bad for an 85 year old saw!
