This motor came with a Sprunger bench saw that I purchased used in 2006.
No further history is known.

>>MACHINE<<
Oak Electric ½hp 1725rpm capacitor start induction run motor.
Cast iron end bells.
Dual 5/8" shafts.
Klixon thermal safety switch.
The steel base appears to be 56-frame size.
Uncertain if toggle switch and power cord are original to the design.
Very smooth running motor.
Currently being used to power a fine wire wheel.
