This band saw was originally in the Goodyear plant in St. Mary's Ohio. The next owner purchased it in the early 1990s, but never used it. I'm not sure, but I feel that the gearbox (speed reduction) was added by a previous owner to use the bandsaw for metal cutting. It appears that it is not switchable to make it run fast enough for cutting wood. The open stand is pretty heavy duty and appears to match the style of the saw.

Somewhere along the line, the lower blade guide was bumped into and broken. I'll have to find a used one, or try to make one.
