I submit this here because it seems to be unusual. I cannot find any information about it online, nor can I find any evidence of one of these being sold or traded. I also cannot find any reference to the "high speed grinders" for which this attachment is intended; the models 320 and 323 referred to on the box label.

This turned up, NIB in the estate of a man who lived his whole life in Evanston, Ill. and who was a collector and dealer in tools and machines of all kinds. He was the uncle of close friends of mine. In addition to tools he was interested in railroad paraphernalia of all kinds, geological maps and books, and chemistry-related items. He had a particular interest in Millers Falls branded hand tools - he left behind countless planes of all sizes, braces, attachments, etc. Perhaps one of the grinders will turn up in his collection - we're still sorting through countless items. I have not decided whether to buy this from my friends or advise them to sell it, so it may be turning up on eBay one of these days - but before I let it get out of my hands I wanted to document it here at this wonderful site.
