I acquired this grinder from a machinist friend who bought the workshop of a retired woodworking machinery mechanic. It appears complete. I have not tried to use it yet, but it should be just the ticket for my 16" jointer.

It is designed to ride accross the cutter head and register against the back of the blade to make a perfect grind.

Apparently these were sold under the Burgess (patent holder) name at first and later under the Wuidart Brand. A receipt for a different item from Brookstone tools was found in the box. Were they a vendor?
