Washed and waxed. It's a darling. This 9 1/2 saw was basically unchanged in their catalogs from 1935 up to late 40's. The guard changed then to keep up with the Jetsons. The catalog(s) claim this brute can cut 4 5/8 inch thick stock, to 9 1/2 inches to edge. The Power Kraft logo changed in the catalogs at/near 1941. The wood table extension added at/near 1940. For around $15 this saw was yours back then. I think I'd pass.
