I bought this saw off craigslist. The seller had just picked it up at an auction. He liked it, but he had also just picked up a Walker Turner 16" that was fully restored and he couldn't keep both. No history before that.
The upper wheel takes grease and seems to have been well lubed. However the lower wheel and the thrust bearings are oiled and were completely dry. I don't know how long it's been, but I'm hoping they aren't toast. They spun really freely and are oiled now. We'll see.
I'll try yo post a few more shots after its been cleaned up and loved.

In place in my shop. Set up next to his equally ugly get serviceable drill press brother.

Upper guide. Not sure about the guide blocks. They are just 1/8" steel prices, no adjustment.

Lower guide blocks seen in foreground, from behind. I'm not sure what these rubber pieces are for... Anthirdnset of guides before the blade enters the lower cabinet?
