Comments:
Bought from craigslist. It was previously used on a lathe but was not in use. I believe the previous owner had reassembled the brush lifter mechanism incorrectly so assumed the motor was not useable at least that's the impression I got. It works fine after mechanism realignment. It weighs a svelte 104 lbs and has lots of 'barn find' patina as people like to say. It is listed as using 104 volts which must have been the standard before 110 volts. Hard to believe sometimes that the cast iron is so thick on these motors, built like a tank.
