This machine was used in a small commercial woodshop, until my relative aquired it after he came back from WW2, aprox. early-mid 50's. I received it in 2003. My relative made his own knives, and had the habit of running 1 knife on the machine. Always grumbled, "most dangerous machine in my shop", so I was never shown how to properly set up this machine so I don't use it.
The shaper has a heavy duty Delta Forward/reverse switch, and a 1ph 230v 1hp Delta Motor of unknown vintage. The origional motor was 1/2hp. The fence is a Boice-Crane Model No.2130 and I also have other BC fences and BC Model No.2131 gaurd and holdown. I have lots of knives and cutters for this machine so if anyone would like to see them let me know. If anyone could help with the date on this machine it would be appreciated.
Thanx, TfromRI
