I purchased this machine from Wm. Redmond & Sons in Atlanta. It had several coats of brush applied "school colors," was missing the side guard,the drive belt guard, and the star knobs. Of course the top (idler drum) guard was gouged by misalignment of the belt - but then all these sanders come that way - don't they? It came with the original flared leg stand and motor, complete with switch rod. I installed all new bearings, cleaned stripped & repainted, then located missing parts from Delta, Plaza Machinery and one of our fellow OWWMers. I do a lot of sanding with the belt in the horizontal position so I needed a good fence. I ended up fabbing two fences, one standard height and one a good bit taller for edge sanding tall pieces. I constructed the fences from a nice piece of curly maple and Wenge. This baby runs strong and smoothly.
