Comments:
I bought this machine on eBay for $5 in June 2004, to test the interest of my step-daughters (ages 8 and 11). I recently gave it to them (had to find blades first, see below). They immediately started cutting toy figures and small jig saw puzzles. It will cut up to 3/4" thick pine, with a gentle feed rate.

As received, the motor fan was detached from the shaft. I reattached the fan, aligned the arm and cleaned the dust from the machine.

I found some blades (one size only) for this machine at an old local hardware store.
The blade is unusual. It is 4" overall length. The pin end attaches to the upper spring arm and has 2" of shank without teeth. The plain end is 3/8" long and attaches to the lower chuck. (Finding replacement blades may be a trick--the folks at Olson Saw Blade claim they never heard of this size. I may have to modify some 5" scroll or coping saw blades.)

Specifications:
Capacity: 3/4" cut (non-tilt table), 8" throat
Motor: 120 watts, 110-125V AC only, 50-60 cycles
Blade: 4" OAL, 2" shank at pin end, 3/8" plain shank at chuck end

UPDATE: Donated to ArnFest09 raffle.
