I got this great little saw from fellow owwm guy Steve Black a mmmmm ah mmm while ago. The housing/blade guard had made itself into a two piece version and one of the trunnions has become exceptionally short. Both have been welded up and await the electrolysis tank,new tank in progress at this time- the old garbage can, I mean tank sprung a leak(s). Cracked Cover fixed. Trunnion built up/repaired. Electrolysis done painted up etc -she's actually produced sawdust. Little tweaking to be done correct speed yet to be achieved but we're gettin there.

The finish is two coates of Rustoleum Ruddy Brown primer with a coat of clear over that. I thought it was/is cool.

Jeff McVey sent me a scan of a 1935 catalog page (scent it in ) This says a 79in blade. I put a readily available 80in and am a little short on tension hmmmmmmmm.
