This is another early variation on the 20" bandsaw. Another, even earlier, 20" Davis & Wells band saw where the main casting is paired with a separate foot casting was a Craigslist ad and I posted that here some time ago. http://vintagemachinery.org/photoindex/detail.aspx?id=16071
This one is in a shop here in SE Portland which allowed me to jot down the serial number.
The motor mount also predates the more typical centered at the back design.
