This is a Nels J. Billstrom Clamp Carrier. It was previously owned by William Tell Woodcrafters in Tell City, Indiana. I aquired it in March, 2003. It was in the basement and was beginning to rust away. The company president said it had been shortened to its current length. I have enough clamps to add at least 5 more sections to it. I've sandblasted the legs. Other than that i have not finished restoring it. There is also a leveling bar that is mounted in front of the machine where the clamps are settled on for a level surface to even clamps. this piece is currently being repaired.
