The metal and woodcutting version of the Delta-Crescent 20" band saw. The photos show a couple of the details that differ from the woodcutting version. The variable speed drive and the '60's-style blade guides. Some of the later Rockwell-badged 20" woodcutting saws used the same style guides. The guides were originally advertised as being better than other types because of their narrow profile, but frankly, they aren't very good for heavy-duty cutting and can stand replacement by the later type, or by aftermarket guides like Carter. This saw had seen a lot of use and very poor maintenance (read "none"). When I got it, the VS drive and blade guides needed complete rebuilding. It now works very well on both wood and metal, but it took a lot of machine-work and fine-tuning to get it there. I'll post a photo of the whole saw just as soon as I can move enough shop-junk out of the way to be able to stand where I can get a good picture--don't hold your breath...:^)
