I purchased this from a friend along with the Dunlap Jig/Scroll saw posted a few days earlier (http://www.owwm.com/PhotoIndex/detail.asp?id=1982). The date is based on the serial tag style, not the actual number (G-4397, see last picture). When I called Delta about this serial number, they could not give me any information.
