Comments:
The previous owner was asking $100 for a rusty looking bandsaw.
I liked the looks of it so took it for $50 because the switch was broken.
He delivered it in a nasty rainstorm to my basement ~10 miles away.
What a hot ticket.

I stripped it to bare metal, primed and topcoated with rustoleum.
I shined the shiny stuff and shaved, polished and buffed/waxed the table.
I assembled and tuned the heck out of it and it's been a great performer.

You can see from the bottom picture how important it is to use sharp blades and a pushstick.
The blade was dull so I was trying to get a few more uses out of it. Dumb.
You have to push harder with dull blades. Don't.
I knew I should use a pushstick but I'd been ok so far.
Accidents happen if you don't think they will.
I learned my lesson with 11 stitches and intact tendons.
I was lucky.

I still love my saw, it was my first resto.
I was in the Navy and have had enough of haze grey, hence a shiny black Delta.
I'll get some better pix up soon.
