The patent's date was 1935.
The saw's mechanism appears in the 1935 catalog as model TA925.
Mine's a little different than the TA925 but the mechanism is the same.
It (along with numerous other WT machines) belonged to the owner's father-in-law who died a couple of years ago.
They were stored in a barn in western Mass and were mostly sold by the time I saw the ad.
He had a stack of batshit covered oak planks for too much $$$ but I liked the saw.
I'll use it as it is until I finish a few projects and free some time.
If I like it enough I'll restore it.
A 27" deep table, 10" blade and 3/4HP motor are all upgrades from my 8" WT tilting table saw.
The motor has a clutch so it makes a cool sound when it ?shifts gears? when slowing down.
It weighs a ton so it passes the nickle test with flying colors.
Something will have to go soon because I have three working tablesaws along with the rest of my wwm in a two car woodshop.
