A friend of my father-in-law moved to florida and sold him a few vintage pieces of machinery. Two table saws and a scroll saw. I found out one of the table saws was a craftsman 8 inch table was 1937. I had the motor rebuilt and took the saw apart and refinished and painted it. Works fine now. I need info on the scroll saw. We are missing a few pieces and need a parts list and/or manual to acquire parts. I found a picture of the saw on this site from the manufactures index image page....www.owwm.com/MfgIndex/image.asp?id=599
This saw looks exactly like mine. All of the decals are painted over and pitted. The only info I can get is the serial num on the red and silver tag...12-2199. Also on the arm of the saw is a number NSS-2S6.
Any info on the saw would be appreciated... also acquiring parts.
Restoration is complete! I had it up and running for a good bit...But I broke the crosshead and its time to move on to another build. The machine is for sale and I included a picture of the broken crosshead that needs replaced. Other than that it is 99.9% complete. I do have a stand from another 40-440 for this machine if you are interested in purchasing it.
