Comments:
I acquired this from a seller in MO who had only had it 5 months and bought it to sell. Other history unknown. It had been sloppily slathered in paint for resale. Short rails came with it. It was missing the fence, the guard and splitter assembly, the miter gauge, the dust door, and the motor cover. The bullet motor's data tag was completely illegible except for the faintest hint of "DELTA MANUFACTURING COMPANY MILWAWKEE WISCONSIN REP. IND. MOTOR". The little guide block that keeps the front trunnion in line was broken. I completely disassembled the saw, stripped of multiple layers of paint and rust primarily using electrolysis, and repainted with oil-based spray enamel. I replaced arbor bearings and the motor bearings and brushes, as well as fabricated a new shorting necklace. I replaced arbor pulley with a new steel one from Delta. I had the commutator turned.
