Comments:
Acquired via local Craigslist posting in Portland, OR. The PO reported getting this from his Father-in-Law in Washington State at least 10 years previously but never used it. It has a dealer tag from Webster-Robinson out of Tacoma, WA. The older style sheet metal stand and original green zolatone paint makes me think this is 50s or 60s vintage. The serial number is not stamped on the table as per D&W common practice, but rather on the front of the base casting. In the pictures below the paint is as found though the tables have been scraped and waxed. The existing switch was vintage but maybe not original judging by the extra holes that had been drilled in the base for it. While it did run fine I re-wired the motor to include a ground, converted to 220 volt and installed an AB manual starter. Also replaced motor bearings and belts- which were overdue. It has a nice taper lock double pulley on a Dayton 1HP motor.
