This is the third of these to show up in this index. A fairly complete and working exemplar. I believe I may have bought this press from the family of the original owner--the seller's grandfather. Unusual in that the press is designed to drill by lowering the entire head and motor. Age unknown, but I'd venture late 1930s?
The original motor is a 1/4hp, 4.7A Sunlight. I don't know if the lamp is original but it looks period correct. The 1-3/4" diameter column is solid.
Edit: The light is a sewing machine light, sold on Pfaff 130 sewing machines, and stamped M.E.M.P. CO. which turns out to be Mercury Electric Products Mfg Co.
