Comments:
This is a true treadle version of the #6 Barnes metal lathe. In addition to the lathe, a set of riser blocks that when placed between the headstock, tool post and tail stock, took the lathe from a 13 inch swing to a 17 inch swing came with it!! She could take about 48 inches between centers. A knob related to the carriage feed was missing. The four step flywheel was so heavy it took two people to hold it for removal. Overall weight was estimated to be about 500 pounds. For additional information on foot powered machinery, please visit www.footpoweredmachinery.com
