Bought from a University as surplus equipment. Serial number 62-2234 puts the manufacture date at 1948. It is missing the side guard and knob for the top guard. In general, it is in pretty good shape for its age. The bearings are in good shape and the belt tracks well. It is painted a lovely green. At some point, it will get a minor rebuild and a new paint job. For now, it works, so that can wait for a rainy day. It is a well needed addition to my shop.

The stand and belt guard appear to be shop made and is quite sturdy. The motor is a Craftsman 1/2 HP. It will no doubt get swapped with something a little bigger. The "light switch" electricals will get replaced at the same time. It came with an interesting dust collector. It is labeled as a "Eureka Electric Brush", the bag says "Hoover". It actually works quite well. At some point, it will get a connection the shop dust collector. The attached vacuum interferes with moving the table to the horizontal position.
