This date of this picture is unknown, but likely in the 1900-1910's showing the active cast iron foundry. The building is still standing and currently is used for warehousing. We put a new roof on this building twice in 30 years, so there are no longer any skylights or windows. I will be posting a second picture that shows what the inside of the building looks like today. In the back you can see an exhaust hood and black soot on the walls, with a small square window above and left. From what I understand this is where the Babbitt was poured. The second picture will show the wall today with the same black soot, but the small square window was closed in a few decades ago.
