Comments:
An Oliver 182 15" disk sander. The machine is in a University shop and is used on a regular basis.
Shown in the close up is the original "Circle, Segment and Duplicating Gauge" and Miter Gauge.
The unit is direct drive. The motor is a single phase Master Electric type RA Repulsion-Induction motor.
Serial number 38,721 places the manufacture date around 1930.
