Not long ago I came across pictures of a Silver post drill that I'm not familiar with - that is to say, it's not in any catalogue or advert I've got copies of (which makes it post-1916, I believe). It had the number "668" in large letters on the flywheel. This one appears to be it's big brother - bearing the number "667" on the flywheel. It's not mine.
I don't know if this one is bigger, but unlike the one piece table on the "668" this one has the more common (more upmarket?) separate fork supporting the table (or would do if assembled the right way up).
Again the classic curvey spokes etc have been done away with, in what looks like an attempt by Silver Mfg Co. to modernise their range.
Model No. 667? At three digits, that number appears too short for a part number (the part numbers on the No.22, 23 & 24 all being 4 digit numbers in the 2000 series).

No doubt that it's a "Silver Mfg Co." product.

Close-up of flywheel. It looks like the crank arm can be attached directly to the flywheel for a slower drilling speed.
