This machine was purchased August 2014 from an OWWM member.
The spindle is a 5/16" which is what the 1934 catalog lists, as opposed to 3/8" in the 1933 catalog. In the 1934 catalog this is listed as a Craftsman Companion machine. However, the only markings on the machine are Craftsman. The table and base are all one casting with the number SC-1001. The "patent applied for" most likely refers to US Patent No. 1,989,285.
