Family owned since 1957. This info. is off of the tags and bed way number. Silent chain drive unit original.
Just was told from grizzly that they found the card for my lathe and it was made in 8/5/1925 and was shipped to the Scott Bansback Co. in Chicago Il. The N after the serial number was probably the person that finished the lathe on the production line that day. It was common to do this back then according to the people I talked to at tech. support at grizzly. The people at grizzly went way out of there way to help me, and very pleased with the service.
