I just acquired this machine in my hometown. It was first purchased by a family owned lumber yard (which is still in business) and was removed right after the second world war when the company upgraded to newer, safer machines. It was moved into a barn/shop less than three miles away and has been there ever since. It was part of a lineshaft series of machines driven off the same motor. I'm trying to get access to the barn/shop to get some pictures of the lineshaft. The gentleman who owned it died a few years ago at 94 years old and the property was sold to the present owner who I purchased the saw from. Incidentally, the widow of the 94 year-old just died at 104.
